Future Leaders Debate Championship

Are you ready to take the stage and make your voice heard?  Join us for Future Leaders Debate Championship, where quick thinking meets eloquence!  This 1-day debate event is perfect for students who want to sharpen their public speaking and critical thinking skills in a competitive yet supportive environment.

  • Date: Nov 10, 2024
  • Time:
    • Elementary - 9 am - 12 pm, followed by award ceremony
    • Middle - 1 pm - 4 pm, followed by award ceremony
  • Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Redmond (16630 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052)
  • Registration fee: $35
  • Who Can Participate: Open to all elementary and middle school students
  • Format: Individual + Team Debate Rounds
  • Prizes: Awards for top debaters + Certificates of Participation

What is special about this championship?

To ensure all participants have the guidance they need, we will have floating mentors available throughout the event. These experienced mentors will assist students in refining their arguments, answering questions, and offering helpful tips as they prepare for each round of the competition. Our goal is to provide every participant with the support they need to perform their best! We'll be sending the topics 24 hrs in advance to give students some time to practice.
