Day 1: Exploring the World of Simple Machines
Morning: Introduction to simple machines (lever, pulley, wheel and axle, inclined plane, wedge, screw). Hands-on experiments and challenges using everyday objects.
Afternoon: Building a Rube Goldberg machine in teams. Learning about energy transfer and chain reactions.
Day 2: Eco-Friendly Designs and Sustainable Solutions
Morning: Understanding environmental challenges and the importance of sustainability. Exploring renewable energy sources (solar, wind, water).
Afternoon: Designing and building a miniature eco-friendly house using recycled materials. Learning about energy efficiency and conservation.
Day 3: Chemical Reactions and the Science of Color
Morning: Introduction to basic chemistry concepts (atoms, molecules, reactions). Conducting safe and exciting experiments with color-changing reactions.
Afternoon: Conduct a series of safe and exciting experiments that explore color changes.
Day 4: Science Showcase and Celebration
Morning: Finalizing and preparing projects for the Science Showcase. Practicing presentation skills and teamwork.
Afternoon: Science Showcase event. Campers present their creations to family and friends. Awards and recognition ceremony.
Science-themed games and puzzles.
Outdoor science exploration walks.
All experiments and activities will be supervised by experienced instructors.
Safety goggles and gloves will be provided when necessary.
First aid kits will be readily available.
Campers will be educated on proper lab safety protocols.
